About

A Pharmacist First. A Founder Second.

Running a pharmacy means caring for patients while leading a business. Your patients need your attention. Your team needs direction. Your operation needs oversight. Each draws on the same limited hours.

OperHand was created by a practising pharmacist who understands those demands firsthand.

As a pharmacist, I knew how easily a small task could claim the rest of the day. A busy shift pushed billing into the evening. A day off came with a remote login.

I experienced what happens when the most experienced assistant leaves. The sticky notes and notebooks remain, but the person who connects all the details is gone. Even her vacations meant piecing everything together to keep the program running.

I also witnessed third-party audits claw back years of blister-pack billing. In a busy dispensary, keeping authorizations current was difficult, especially for patients receiving deliveries. I had seen how costly those gaps could become.

I wanted to change that while staying connected to the day-to-day work of the pharmacy.

That became the idea behind OperHand: turn my experience in pharmacy into software that could keep the program organized, bring scattered information together for the whole team, and take on work that otherwise followed me home.

The ambition grew beyond making a shift easier. It was about making a pharmacy less dependent on any one person's memory or constant availability.

OperHand is built for pharmacists who want to care for their patients without wearing themselves down, or losing hard-earned income over missing paperwork.
