Meet Bill. The Billing Bot
The Billing Run Happens Without You.
Every day, on a schedule or on demand, whether or not anyone is in the pharmacy. Bill does the run and reports back. You settle what it flags, in a few clicks, from your phone.
Bill is the upgrade. Authorizations and the Daily Task Dashboard are the product it sits on top of, and they work with any dispensing system. Bill is available for supported dispensing systems.
What The Job Becomes.
You review statuses and approve what needs a decision. That is the whole job now.
01
Scheduled, or on demand
Set it to run every day at a time that suits the pharmacy, or start a run yourself whenever you want one.
02
It reports back
Every run produces a report with the outcomes grouped, so what went through and what needs you are two different lists rather than one long one.
03
Decisions from your phone
The flagged items are a few clicks on the dashboard. Not a laptop, not a VPN, and not a reason to be in the building.
04
The laptop stays home
Owners rarely ask for this to save the hour. They ask for it so the trip stops involving the laptop at all.
Including the days you are not there.
A billing run that only happens when a particular person sits down to do it is not really automated, it is just scheduled around someone's life. The point of Bill is that the day it runs and the day you are available stop being the same day.
What If It Does Something Wrong?
This is the right question to ask about anything that acts on your behalf, so here is the honest answer. Bill is built to stop rather than to be clever.
It never guesses. Anything it does not recognise halts and is flagged to a person. An unhandled case becomes your decision, not its assumption.
Nothing from the screen leaves the machine. What Bill sees stays where it is being worked.
It acts as whoever launched it. There is no separate service identity doing work nobody can attribute.
It never retries silently. A failure is reported as a failure, the first time and every time.
Nothing is quietly dropped. Anything that did not complete comes back as a task in tomorrow's queue.
It Does Not Connect To Your Dispensing Software.
No API. No database connection. No file exchange.
Bill does not integrate with your dispensing system, and this is a deliberate design choice rather than a limitation waiting to be fixed. Nothing is wired into the system your pharmacy depends on, so there is nothing new that can break it, and no data pipe between the two to reason about.
Bill is available for supported dispensing systems. Authorizations and the Daily Task Dashboard carry no such requirement, which is why the product is sold first and Bill is offered afterwards, once the daily queue is genuinely in use.
What Bill Sits On Top Of.
Start with the system. Add Bill when you are ready.
Bill is the upgrade, and it is worth more once the daily queue is already carrying your program. Begin there.
