Questions

The Things Owners Ask First.

What does it cost?

$79.99 per month, or $99.99 per month with BILL included. No credit card is needed to start your free trial.

How long is the trial?

Thirty days. You are not asked for payment details to begin, and nothing is charged during the trial.

What happens when the trial ends?

If you add a payment method before the trial ends, nothing changes and the subscription simply begins. If you do not, the account is locked: no signing in, no opening patients, and no downloading signed forms.

Nothing is deleted. But while the account is locked you cannot reach it, so export anything you need before the trial ends. We email you at seven days, three days, one day, and on the final day, so the date does not arrive unannounced.

Can I cancel?

Yes, from inside your account. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.

Does BILL work with my dispensing system?

BILL runs against one specific dispensing system, so it is not available to every pharmacy. Choose yours on the signup form and you will see straight away whether BILL can be added to your account.

Authorizations and the Daily Task Dashboard carry no such requirement. They work alongside any dispensing system, which is why they are the product and BILL is the add-on.

Do you replace my dispensing system?

No, and it is not meant to. OperHand runs the operational program around your compliance packs — what is due, what changed, what is waiting, and what was done. Your dispensing system stays exactly where it is and keeps doing its job.

What does OperHand hold about my patients?

It holds the operational program: what is due, what changed, what is waiting, and what was done. It does not hold the compliance package grid, a medication profile, a dispensing record, or a maintained medication list — those live in your dispensing system and stay there.

A task or a note naturally names the medication it concerns, because that is what makes it useful to whoever acts on it. That is an instruction, not a clinical record, and the difference is the whole design.

I own more than one pharmacy. Can they share an account?

Each pharmacy signs up separately and has its own account. That is deliberate: each pharmacy is its own custodian of its health records, and patient information should not be visible across locations. It also means one billing problem affects one store rather than all of them.

If you run several, get in touch before you sign up and we will sort out a group rate across them.

Is my data held in Canada?

OperHand is built on PHIPA-aligned architecture. Architecture is not certification, and we would rather say that plainly than claim something we have not been through. If you want the specifics of where data sits and how it is handled, ask us and we will answer directly.
